Overview:

  • This role focuses on supporting students throughout their learning journey by ensuring they are engaged, motivated, and progressing toward their goals. Daily tasks include consulting with students, offering tutoring, managing class schedules with the CSS/CSA teams, and providing ongoing support and feedback through the LMS. Weekly responsibilities involve attending meetings, reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), teaching lower-level classes, and acting on student feedback to ensure satisfaction. Monthly duties include managing student turnover and renewal rates, conducting progress check-ins with students, and ensuring a high level of student engagement. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to schedule classes, support new students, organize events, and facilitate smooth communication between students, teachers, and staff to enhance the overall student experience.

Daily:

  • Support sales in contacting students who are finishing their courses to re-enroll.
  • Support students in achieving their learning objectives through consultations, tutoring and upgrade tests.
  • Support students with their questions.
  • Work with CSS/CSAs to ensure the appropriate classes are being opened as needed in a timely manner.
  • Have a rolling schedule to meeting students each day to discuss their course progress and keep them motivated.
  • Enter all communications (NSO/Student FU/Study Session feedback/etc in the LMS.)
  • Develop material, and be available to support with placement tests and filming for LMS content.
  • Work with CSA/CSS to make sure appropriate classes are being opened in the schedule to meet the needs of your students.
  • Work with other SAs to try to combine students of the same level within the same classes in order to maximize centre resources.

Weekly:

  • Attend weekly meetings and identify and communicate to the Academic Manager the types of classes that are relevant to students’ interests and needs and be the voice of the student to ensure there are enough of them for them to join. In addition, update the AM regarding student issues, as well as what is being done to address them.
  • Monitor and report KPIs to AM during weekly meeting.
  • Teach lower-level classes, tutoring sessions and some English Corners.
  • Ensure students are happy with their classes, learning progress and learning environment by soliciting and acting on feedback. (Based on CSA surveys.)

Monthly:

  • Responsible for student turnover and student renewal rate of the entire facility.
  • Make sure every student you follow has been contacted at least once within the month either via phone or face-to-face.
  • Check on their feeling towards their progress.
  • Offer advice regarding their study habits.
  • Assist in scheduling additional classes as needed.
  • Monthly Meeting: Ensure student renewal rate (Upselling) & student referral rate (Referral) according to the center’s KPI

As Needed:

  • Create 30-Day Study Plans for new students.
  • Work with CSS/CCs to support in getting new student’s first class booked within one week.
  • Host New Student Orientations as needed.
  • Work with CCs to schedule new students into NSO.
  • Communicate with teachers to get feedback on student progress as needed.
  • Work with other staff to organize events/parties for students, and be active in inviting own students to activities
  • When students are booked into their first class, follow up with the teacher to give them a heads up about any information that needs to be know (learning difficulties, target, background, etc) so that the teacher can give a better experience to the student during the 1st class.

Requirements:

1/. Background

  • College or University degree
  • Have IELTS 6.5 certificate (Required).

2/. Attitude:

  • Have a positive attitude towards working hard, as well as growth.
  • Willing to openly communicate on issues.
  • Passionate about learning, willing to update and challenge your own knowledge.
  • Solution-oriented.
  • Proactive mindset.

3/. Skills:

  • Proficient in both oral and written English.
  • Ability to communicate directly and clearly.
  • Ability to analyze and design a course structure and curriculum.

4/. Experiences:

  • At least 06 months experience worked at schools or English Centers.

5. Be able to work rotating shift and on weekends (days off will be on weekdays)
